wmp11 not playing wmv

I had a bunch of videos that play fine on XP WMP10, but when I play then on WMP11 with Vista, it's start play for about 2 seconds and then I get an year error that state 'Windows Media Player cannot play the file...' I've tried several different video, all have the same problem. Any Ideas?????

Try downloading the Divx codec Package Alot of codecs are not automatically included on the WMP11 package.

EVERY SINGLE media player can't play Wmv on vista. WMP11 can play streaming wmv via a wmx or mms:// file. ALShow can play wmv files but there is no audio.
