Online radio won't play
Since the original videos are usually 640x480 I use the conversion in WMP11 on my XP machine during sync to convert the videos to a resolution for the device. Recently this has stopped working. When I play the WMV file on the phone it only plays the audio. If you look at the properties it says it has video.

Vista - Media Player 11 Problems
I've wasted hours trying to fix this problem of WMP 11 not playing some of my old wmv files (these are Video files). Video not playing?
The files can play in Real Player. I've tried downloading the codecs from the Microsoft site and still no luck. Also, it won't let me upgrade to WMP11 or reinstall WMP10(found it on snapfiles.com). When I try, it tells me "can not complete installation". Please help. Thanks. newtechie.

Embedded WMP doesn't play WMV
You copy pdfs, jpegs, mp3s or program setup files to it, and they are OK, they execute/play. However, I have tried copying WMV,AVI, MPG, FLV, and MOV files to it, and WMP 11, quicktime, and my FLV player will not play them. Even if I copy them back to the desktop hard drive, they do not play.

Codec problem with WMP11
For some reason, every type of media file I've tried in WMP11 works fine, *except* for WMV. I'm running it on Vista RC1, and getting rerror code C00D11B1. I *can* run WMV files if I stick a .jpg in the folder with the .wmv, open the .jpg (which uses Windows Photo Viewer), and then hit left or right.
